The company was founded in 2009 at the height of the Global financial crisis that spread all over the US, Europe and Asia. Closures of giant financial companies coupled with massive layoffs led to recessions where no country was spared. Looking at the possible opportunities at the advent of the crisis, the group composed of five people led by its chairman, Mr. Efren O. Docena, saw the needs of the market. Apparently, the most obvious of which is medical care. In the Philippines, the importance and attention given for insurance protection is low. The absence of medical insurance coverage and the continual rising cost of medical care becomes the biggest threat for everybody.
