I have a very bad experience of this company. It made me question the rule of thumb of the business world which is "The customer is always right." And the core value of every business venture which is "Give the ultimate customer satisfaction."
We ordered our materials from them and paid them in check which is paid to cash. We paid them by 9:30am. They sent one of their staff to the bank to encash such check and it turns out the account has insufficient funds (This was our fault and we apologize for this). The person arrived back at the store by 12:30pm yet they waited until 2PM to address the problem during which time, the fund were already sufficient. I told them to please go back to the bank and they said the employee is DISCOURAGED to go back because they were so many people. Time is of the essence and they're wasting it. And they tell us that you're not the only customers to be entertained. And when they finally encashed the check by 4:30 they said we never made their payment for delivery cut off time w/c is 4pm. (WHAT?! YOU HAD THE CHECK SINCE 9:30AM) I kept on calling them from 2pm saying that they should go NOW to the bank in order to be on schedule. But noooooo. They had to ask their boss first because the boss got mad of the incident in the morning. They are HESITANT to complete our transaction punctually. They value their convenience over their customers'. This is not the first time this company caused us such inconvenience.
A week before, they were late on delivering our ply woods and they I talked to one of their staff and said it would be delivered on the 26th. When I called on that day, the one in charge of our transaction scolded me because I shouldn't have asked the other staff about the delivery date. I should only ask him and he said that the delivery won't be until 2 days later. I was like "What difference does it make. You work on the same company. You should have the same answer."
And now I asked if they could deliver the materials today. And they said "We're not sure yet. I have to ask my boss if he will allow it."
I hope in time they will change their attitudes towards their customers and how they handle any stress.
