Philippine Baptist Mission

Brother Robin Cabasan found salvation in Jesus Christ on November 15th, 1987 and was baptisted on the same day. He started planting churches in 1997. Brother Robin graduated Bible College under American Missionary Dr. Joseph Boyd Lyons and is now the Pastor of Open Door Baptist Church and Missionary to the Philippines with over 88 million people.First beginning his work in the southern part of the Philippines at Baptist Bible Mission he and his wife planted their first church. After three years they were able to give the Baptist Bible Mission to Pastor James Lining and his wife Lea. Later they joined his brother in law Leonardo Mallari's church located in Vallasis Pangasinan, the original Open Door Baptist Church in the south. again in 2001 to start new mission in the northern part of the Philippines called Abra where Robin was Born. Here in Abra The Cabasan family worked diligently to start the new Open Door Baptist Church. Following two more mission works were started by Brother Robin. Both of these mission works are now successfully run with pastors over them.The Open Door Baptist Church in Abra has approximately 100 members and is growing. Many ministries have blossomed out of this church including the ministry to the mountain people of the Philippines, Children's ministries, and training leaders ministries. Our future goal is to plant more churches and establish workers and pastors to go and build more churches in the province of Abra with its 27 towns.
