The Store started its operation in 1957 with an initial capital of P2, 000.00 under the name Good News Supply. A few years later, it was changed to Good Luck Store Branch. The family who owned and operated the store felt that there should be something to identify themselves, so they decided to change it again to Cangs Trading, then later as to Cang’s General Supply as they carried additional products.The Cangs Family decided to pool their resources in order to have additional capital to be more competitive in the market and organized a corporation. The Corporation was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 29, 1987, and was also registered with the Department of Trade and Industry under the name Cang’s, Inc.With this, the store existed for 51 years

So on November 18, 1996, Bethel Guest House started its operation, as a Division of Cang’s, Inc.
