The first passenger steel hull boat was acquired from the operator of the BULLET EXPRESS, thence, it was commission by SRN FAST SEACRAFTS, INC. to be finished by the above-shipyard which when completed then, a team led by undersigned went to take delivery of said vessel from Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia. The name of the craft M/V "WEESAM EXPRESS" was derived from the name of the youngest son of HADJI WAHAB A. AMIL, the President-Chairman whose name was WEESAM.
