Reviews of VIP Rent a Car

We rented an 8 pax van to use for 3 weeks while visiting my wife's relatives. I was reluctant to use this company because of the bad reviews. However, after contacting them first by email followed up with a phone call I was feeling a bit more confident.
When we arrived at Clark Airport, Sonny and Mira were there at 5AM as requested with the brand new Toyota Innova we van ordered. They picked us up and drove to their office (about 5-10 minutes away) and processed the required paperwork.
Contrary to previous reviews, they were the most professional and friendly people we could have asked for. When I mentioned about reading the previous bad review they told us the management had been changed and the previous manager was gone and they are in the process of getting their reputation back to a higher standard. It certainly showed us they had accomplished that by the way we were taken care of. I highly recommend you give these folks (Sonny & Mira)a try.
PS, Upon retu8rn of the vehicle, they even arranged for a driver named Jhun to take us from their office near Clark, to the airport in Manila for our departure. Another great experience and I highly recommend you request Jhun if you need a driver. A terrific guy!!! Sonny & Mira, you need to make sure you keep him working for you.

WARNING! This is not a good place to rent a car in angeles city. I rented a car for a day trip in Pampanga. The old crappy Mazda 323 overheated 2 times (the owner hadn't put coolant so had to buy that myself, P500+). The manager was unfrendly. The ads says 24/7 but that is a big lie. Can not pick up a rented car before 9am or after 5pm.
