This website is primarily created to help support the livelihood of the indigent Mangyans in Mindoro, Philippines. The name "Hanunoo" has dual meaning: 1.) name of one of the eight (8) Mangyan groups; 2.) means "truly, real, genuine " in their language. There are eight (8) groups of Mangyans: Alangan, Bangon, Tau-buid, Buhid, Hanunoo, Tadyawan, Iraya and Ratagnon.
