Job Presentation

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing and drafting professional services (engineering, architecture, environmental, and other technical services) and construction-related agreements.
  • Reviewing and drafting prime contracts, subcontracts, joint venture agreements, teaming agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Providing concise contract review summaries of the observed risk items in light of company policies.
  • Using an online database to document the review and coordinate work with other members of the contracts review team.
  • Utilizing internal legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and subsequently addressed through development of unique contract terms and conditions to mitigate such risks.
  • Providing prompt responses, contract reviews and general correspondence to facilitate the team in meeting local deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of demonstrated contract experience with a major engineering firm, contractor or law firm in the areas of engineering and construction contracts.
  • Well-developed communications skills; able to clearly and concisely express legal issues and analysis.
  • Self-driven & resourceful to achieve goals independently and in groups.
  • Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules, priorities and deadlines.
  • Adept in working in a different time zone from the local U.S. offices that are being supported.
  • Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively and efficiently.
  • High degree of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in reviewing and drafting professional services agreements while adhering to company policies and procedures.
