DIPLOMA IN PROFESSIONAL CULINARY ARTS (1-year Program)
The Diploma in Culinary Arts is intended for students who have chosen to pursue a career in the demanding and exciting arena of culinary arts. The program focuses on culinary skills, practical hands-on and theoretical training in all areas of food production. It equips you with real gastronomic skills and knowledge about food preparation, safety and the presentation techniques required for entry into the food service industry. The academic year comprises 10 months of study on-campus and 2 months OJT with any of our partner hotels and restaurants. This program highlights the following: FUNDAMENTALS and ADVANCED methods in CULINARY ARTS, Basic BAKING AND PASTRY ARTS, INTERNATIONAL CUISINE covering Western, Asian, and European Cuisines and Entrepreneurship.
