2D ECHO / ECG / TREADMILL STRESS TEST

About the product
2D ECHO is a test in which ultrasound is used to picture out the heart. It is capable of displaying a cross sectional “slice” of the beating heart, including the chambers, valves and the major blood vessels that exit from the left and right part of the heart.

ECG is a representation of the electrical activity of the heart muscle as it changes with time, usually printed on paper for easier analysis. Like other muscles, cardiac muscle contracts in response to electrical depolarisation of the muscle cells. It is the sum of this electrical activity, when amplified and recorded for just a few seconds that we know as an ECG.

TREADMILL STRESS TEST provides valuable information if the heart has sufficient blood and oxygen circulation during physical stress which may not show on resting ECG. The test may also reveal important abnormalities of the heart rhythm and blood pressure (BP).
