Garcia General Hospital was established in 1982 and was founded by Drs. Nestor and Nora Garcia. Initially, it was located at St. Benedict Subdivision, Nangka, Marikina City with hospital staff consisting of 3 nurses, 1 x-ray technician, 2 medical technologists, 1 janitor and 1 cook. This hospital was categorized as a secondary hospital back then. It was accredited by the Department of Health, then by the Philippine Medical Care Commission (MEDICARE) on October 23, 1982.
