Reviews of Villarica Pawnshop Inc. - Makati City

This incident happened last Wednesday March 20, 2013 around 5:30 pm located at Gen. Malvar Cubao QC. It was my first time to visit a Villarica Pawnshop as my purpose is to exchange my Dollar. Since I was there and still waiting for the cash, I did asked one of the Frontliner if she can check my Gold Ring for appraisal. I gave my ring and she brought it inside the restricted area without any explanation on how to test it and she did not even weigh my ring before bringing it inside. I waited for 10 minutes and was confused on what they are doing inside. The Frontliner told me the value of my ring ang gave it back to me. I just noticed that they placed a dot hole inside my ring near the written karat, for me they already damage my ring. My concern is they did not inform me about it. I was so embarassed that time as the Manager Helen Fernandez, kept on pointing on the Policy that was posted on the wall as if I am not aware of. I abide with the Policies on all pawnshops but the thing here is they did not explain to me that they will put a hole in my ring that makes me freak out. The staffs are discourteous and very pathetic. I went to the other branch infront of the said branch because I need to gain information on where to complain as the Gen. Malvar branch won't give out any information and apparently ignore me and my concern. They promised to call me within 24 hours but I have not yet receive any courtesy call. It's been 4 days and no resolution was given to me.
