Reviews of Cosmotech Philippines, Inc. - Manila

I bought and paid cash for a brand new HD projector (Vivitek H1085) for private home theater use last Feb 2012 from Cosmotech Philippins Inc. After 4 months with barely 100 hours of usage, i had to send the projector back to Cosmotech because it would not power on anymore. After more than a week of daily follow-ups, alas they replaced the power board and returned the projector to me. After another 2 months of 2-3 hours weekly usage, the projector again experienced another major problem this time with power but no projection. I'm very disappointed with the quality of Vivitek's projector and the lousy service of Cosmotech Phils. After 2 days of observation, they cannot rule out the problem of my projector and could not make any commitments when i can have my projector repaired. All they said was to try calling them again next week becasue after zeroing in on the problem, they will then send the defective part to the manufacturer in Taiwan for evaluation. Then wait for Taiwan's approval and delivery of the replacement part, if not available locally. Considering the tedious process of sending to Taiwan the defective part and awaiting delivery of the replacement part from Taiwan, this can take anywhere from 1 to 2 months. Tried calling the owners/ management of this company several times to provide alternate service units to lessen the inconvenience on my part but refused to accept any of my calls.
