Light Armor Division

The seal of the light armor division is the first and the onlyin the AFP to be done in contemporary design and wasregistered in nation's archive. It was executed by Mr. Ed Castillo, an internationally-renowned Filipino artist. For the following reasons: to stress the innovative spirit which is the foundation of unit's self-reliance effort and to camouflage the destructive power of the tank which is very prominent in the traditional arts: to stress that this destructive weapon will be used only as a last resort.
