Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of the business entity of a global leader in the construction industry. Our reputable client is currently searching for a Business Analyst who is amenable to work in a day shift, onsite work arrangement. The candidate must be willing to travel out of town if necessary to handle the necessary matters. The office is located in Makati City.

About the role:

  • The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing all user requirements and defining user specifications for in-house systems development or commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications; undertaking all system related activities prior to implementation; maintaining and administering the live system including system security. Perform the following key responsibilities; system support, enhancements, operations and maintenance even after the IT solution has been delivered, and accepted by the system owner.
  • The position requires proficiency in written English and requirements management know-how, interpersonal communication skill and requires a significant interface with the Microsoft Office Suite and Dynamics NAV (ERP) System. May also be tasked with training employees on system solutions tailored to their business needs..


Key responsibilities include:
BUSINESS SOULTIONS DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify opportunities for business improvement
  • Coordinate process design and improvement projects to a successful outcome.
  • Perform post implementation reviews of project implementation, promoting continual learning and improvement and make recommendations

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Able to manage and understand requirements for every IT project, whether in-house or outsourced, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) purchase or custom development, or complex systems integration resulting in an accurate estimate saving both time and cost.
  • Identify and coordinate appropriate stakeholders to ensure complete requirements are captured, documented and agreed within timelines specified.
  • Manages the entire Systems Requirements Life Cycle, from understanding the business need to ensuring that the delivered solution meets the need and adds value to the business.
  • Collaborate with application developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical objectives and system expectations.
  • Efficient management of project resources (time, budget, equipment, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT

  • Critically evaluate and analyze information gathered to ensure user requests provided address underlying business needs and provide optimal benefit.
  • Manage the requirements development process involving activities such as; improvement identification, scope definition, requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, documentation, validation, management, and maintenance and enhancements.
  • Managing changes and enhancements to the system. Managing requirements involves being able to add, delete, and modify requirements within the development period.
  • Continually facilitate the validation and verification of requirements throughout the project.

SYSTEM RISK MANAGEMENT

  • Determine and assess the value of digitized information in the organization for any given business process or information system.
  • Involvement in the organization's risks and impact assessment of information used by the organization's business activities and processes.
  • Ensure that all critical systems are part of the Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Perform check and balance to system security by identifying the appropriate level of security measures to be applied.
  • Perform regular IT risk assessment whenever changes in business processes, procedure or technology occurs


Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related courses.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or other related courses.
  • 2 years in a similar job preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, able to use MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Competent in using Business Intelligence (BI) software to retrieve, and report data for business intelligence.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP)
  • Perform user support through the Help Desk System.
