The DAVAO INSTITUTE OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION, INC. DITE is a technical-vocational school. We are located along Mc Arthur Highway, Matina, Davao City, Philippines. A private corporation established in 1958. It’s used to be Davao Automotive School or DAS as it is known during the 60’s. By early 70’s, the name DAS was altered to DITE for the reason that it has been offering other vocational courses beside automotive, thus, the need for it to be amended. Its primary purpose is to educate young men and women in the southern part of the Philippine archipelago.

mirrors our interest to keep up with the fast advancing technology. Our faculty members are the best among their colleagues region wide, if not, nationwide. We are keen on regularly upgrading their knowledge and skill by consistently attending seminars and exposures initiated by TESDA, LTO and the industry. They are also LTO and TESDA accredited assessors. DITE is LTO recognized and TESDA accredited training and assessment center. We are also BOI Bureau of Immigration and USVA accredited.

DITE has been offering course in Automotive Servicing NCII since the beginning. This diploma course Automotive Servicing is a combination of Gas Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic courses with Driving and Basic Welding. The course duration is 879 hours which is equivalent to 12 months intensive training. A trainee who finishes this course acquires four (4) skills, namely; Automotive Mechanic, Driver, Welder and Auto Electrician. Seminar on Auto LPG with Engine Troubleshooting or Fiberglass Making and repair gives the trainee an additional skill- that’s a total of 5 skills! For decades we have been observing the method of more laboratory hours because we are inculcating skill and skill is learned through constant and thorough practice. Our trainees are required to undergo 350 hours of On-the-Job training at our affiliate companies and auto shops and the TESDA assessment exam in Automotive Servicing NCI and NCII.

DITE also is proud to announce we are the first private institution here in southern area to offer course Motorcycle & Small Engine Servicing NCII. We recognize the resurgence of motorcycle as a mode of transportation because of its improved safety, affordability and ease of use. With this course, motorcycle owners and enthusiast will be able to obtain quality service from this day on within Davao City and the provinces around Mindanao.

DITE is Dep Ed accredited as a Senior High School. Here, our senior high school students has 2 choices for specialization. TVL Automotive Servicing NC I and NC II and TVL Motorcycle/ Small Engine Servicing NC II where the students will be equipped with 4 skills- namely, Mechanic, Auto Electricity, Defensive Driving and Basic Welding with no less than 350 hours OJT.
