The Central Luzon Doctors’ Hospital Educational Institution (CLDHEI) is a non-sectarian institution established in 1976 by the Central Luzon Doctors' Hospital (CLDH) through the leadership of its founder, president and chairman of the board, the late Dr. Constante D. Quirino Sr. (photo left). Before CLDHEI, Tarlaqueños who wanted to become nurses needed to go to schools in other provinces or in Manila, The establishment of the CLDH School of Nursing provided students of the city and adjacent communities with an alternative educational institution for Nursing and allied services.
