Malou Castillejos

I’m Malou Castillejos, a gown designer based in Manila, Philippines. I specialize in elegant embroidery and delicate hand beadworks. Everything that I know, from sketching my ideas to executing them, I learned from my mentor and our best friend – our dearest mom, Florina, better known to my folks from Cauayan, Isabela as Daisy Lustre, former radio announcer at DZNC radio station. Although I practically grew up in Manila, I have come to love my hometown. My siblings and I enjoy going home every year to visit our grandfather and see some friends we have there.
