The Design Process Council of the Philippines (DPCP) is an organization of providers of outsourced services for the preparation and processing of design. This service is likewise more commonly known as Engineering Outsourcing. As with the other business components of other industries, the design professions are headed toward the road of outsourcing as globalization makes the world interconnected. By labeling the outsourced service as 'Design Process Delivery', we at DPCP aims to distinguish the Philippine brand while working towards making it collectively synonymous to the reliable delivery of technical savvy and design flair. There is much potential to be cultivated as there are only about 3,800 technical design professionals currently involved in Design Process Delivery. The DPCP works for the Philippines to be at the forefront of the wave as the outsourcing tide ebbs into mainstream design practice. In the future we envision for the organization to accept membership for all niche types of outsourced design servicesTruly across the globe, we find numerous Filipinos successfully practicing in the field of design. Filipino design professionals working in overseas projects are well respected.
