Organon, a business unit of Akzo Nobel deals with the manufacture, importation and marketing of pharmaceutical products. A major part of Organon's worldwide production takes place in Oss, Holland. Other manufacturing facilities are also located in 15 additional countries with research and development activities in seven countries. At present, Organon products are available in more than one hundred different countries worldwide. Organon sells pharmaceutical products which include contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy, infertility drugs, anti-depressant, profertility, CNS, thyroid and anesthesia products.
