MAIN is an investor in early-stage companies that operates in the Philippines. We provide capital, mentorship, expertise support, and access to our networks. Our investments are industry agnostic and are typically made in Seed and Series A rounds. For us, a successful investment is made when the startup has a global scalability, high growth potential, addresses a large market, has a competitive advantage, clear IP ownership, and an entrepreneurial management team.

We are also committed to gender lens investing and actively seek to support female-founded startups. To this end, we have launched an impact investment fund to catalyze more private capital into female founders.

exciting market opportunity and the solution to an identifiable pain point, scalability and growth potential, competitive advantage and defensibility, evidence of early stage income or customer sales traction, credible ask and use of proceeds, and a realistic and aligned exit strategy.

When considering investment in early-stage companies, our primary focus will be on the quality of the team and the robustness of the product on offer. We expect that you have already developed a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and have generated a reasonable amount of traction (product build, clients, revenues, or users) that gives confidence that product/market fit has been found.
