GE Philippines Meter & Instrument Co., Inc. (GEPMICI) is a joint venture between the power utility giant Manila Electric Company (Meralco) and GE, which holds a 65% equity stake. In February 2012, GE Lighting Philippines Inc. opened the Lighting Solutions Center, investing 60,000 USD to upgrade and renovate the facility with wireless lighting controls and lighting applications from an iPad. The Lighting Solutions Center serves as a showroom for various GE Lighting products, catering to a variety of verticals, such as Hospitality, Retail (food and non-food), Office/Commercial, Roadway, and Outdoors.
