Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells (MTW) NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the southeast of England. The Trust has been awarded "Practice Status" for Improving Working Lives Standard. MTW offers a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 760 000 people living in the south of West Kent and the north of East Sussex. Other than this, the Trust delivers specialist cancer services to 1.9 million people in Kent, Medway, and East Sussex via the Kent Oncology Center at Maidstone Hospital, and Canterbury Hospital.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust comprises two main Hospitals listed below:

-Maidstone Hospital is the home to the Kent Oncology Center - the fourth-largest oncology service in the country. The Trust offers PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography - Computed Tomography) services in a dedicated building and has a rolling program to upgrade its Linear Accelerator radiotherapy machines. The hospital also has a state of art Birth Centre, a dedicated ward for respiratory services, and an Academic Centre with a 200-seat auditorium.

-Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury is the first NHS Hospital in England to provide en-suite, single rooms for all inpatients. The hospital is seen nationally as an example of best practice in the design of patient-safe facilities and has attracted widespread international interest. It is designated Trauma Unit, undertakes the Trust's emergency surgery, and is the main site for Women's and Children's, and orthopaedic services.
