Question for Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) - Lucena City, Quezon (SM Lucena)

I heard that new ATM cards have been issued ( I dont know if it is true)... I still have my old atm card with me and I cant change or go to the bank branch because I am working abroad. If I go home next year, Will my old atm card still works? Can I still use it? Many thanks.
